ACE

PURPOSE

The intent of the Advancing Careers and Employment (ACE) Program is to prepare recently-returning citizens for stable, living wage employment and successful reentry into their communities.

The ACE Program provides workforce development, education, trauma-informed case management, and occupational training to adults (25 and older) who have been released from incarceration within 180 days or who are currently under supervision and living in high-crime/high-poverty communities. Participants engage in services to promote stabilization for up to 2 weeks before beginning education or training for industry employment. Participants may engage in the program’s core services for as long as 12 months.

After completing their educational and training goals and earning a credential, ACE participants are placed in industry employment on their preferred career pathway. Industries include TDL, Advanced Manufacturing, IT, Hospitality and Heatlhcare. ACE provides services for an additional 9 months to promote employment retention and self-sufficiency.
