What You'll Need (Quad Cities Youth)

If you live in Rock Island and are between 16 and 21 years old and are no longer enrolled in school, you are eligible for Safer Foundation's youth education program

The Quad Cities youth program is available to individuals who are 16 to 21 and seeking a GED.

In order to participate you must:

1. Obtain identification in the form of an Illinois State ID or a Driver’s License. If those are not available then a birth certificate and a social security card are required. You can obtain this at the following location:

2. Schedule an appointment to interview for admission to the Rock Island Youth Program, call:

3. Bring a high school transcript and a release letter or drop slip.

4. Bring proof of family income in the form of a check stub or medical card.
