Do It Together Green Toolbox and the Green Jobs Deconstruction Training and Job Experience Program
This is the story of the making of the Go Green @ Your Illinois Library toolbox, distributed to participants at The Field Museum’s workshop in October 2010. The video includes people from The Field Museum, the Rebuilding Exchange and Safer Foundation clients. It shows Rebuilding Exchange employees talking about the importance of green practices and also shows Safer clients learning how to make items from salvaged materials. The Green Jobs Deconstruction Training and Job Experience Program, spearheaded by Safer Foundation, is made possible by a Federal Stimulus Grant provide by the City of Chicago.
