Fair Helps Ex-Offenders

WREX in Rockford visits a resource fair for people with criminal records.

ROCKFORD (WREX) -  There is help out there for people convicted of a crime, whove served their time. The Exchange program is made up of dozens of rockford organizations. Its purpose is to help ex-offenders transition back in to main stream society.

Certainly the biggest concern is employment and how backgrounds affect employment, but also what is the proper information regarding sealing or expunging certain convictions that they have in the past. Theodore Duckett represents The Workforce Connection.  He says finding a job is only one service out there to help ex-cons after theyre released from prison.
