Finding Work After Prison
KWQC-TV in the Quad Cities talks about the challenges facing people with criminal records as they return to society following incarceration.
With the national unemployment rate at a 26-year high, finding a job is tough. But for one group of people who face extra job-hunting challenges, that number isn't helping.
Nearly 37-thousand people have been released from Illinois prisons in the past year and many are struggling to find work.
"It's extremely frustrating," says one 24-year-old about his job hunt since he was released from prison.
