Quad-City Agency Employees Honored for Their Work

Safer Foundation's Colleen Willman received recognition from the United Way for her work in the Quad Cities.

Moline, IL – On Thursday, September 23, United Way recognized agency employees working to make a difference in our community during an Agency Recognition Celebration. The awards, their criteria and the winners are listed below.

Volunteer – Employees who exemplify the spirit of volunteerism in the Quad Cities.

Volunteer Award Winner: Colleen Willman – The Safer Foundation

Nominated by Sue Davison, Director, The Safer Foundation

Colleen is a Supportive Service Specialist for the Davenport Youth Empowerment Program at The Safer Foundation. She organizes volunteer opportunities outside the classroom to ensure the students give back and feel a sense of the community. Some of these activities take place outside the normal hours of operation.
