Safer Foundation held its annual Employer Luncheon at the Chicago Yacht Club in 2009. U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, known for his cases against former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and former Vice Presidential Chief of Staff Scooter Libby, was the keynote speaker. Fitzgerald is an outspoken proponent of reentry programs.
