Summit of Hope Offers Direction for Those on Probation or Parole

DECATUR - Aaron Mudd doesn't want to look like a drug dealer, much less be one.
That's why he had gold caps removed from his teeth while still in prison and why finding a job was his top priority Thursday at Decatur's first Summit of Hope at Richland Community College.
"I hope this works," Mudd said. "There's a lot of us here really trying to do good, but sometimes they'd rather just pack us up and send us back instead of giving us a chance."
