Micro Enterprise Reentry Investment Trust (MERIT)

Do you have a criminal record? (Or do you know somebody who does?) Have you ever thought of owning your own business? If you qualify, we will loan you the money to help you get started.

A criminal record can effectively keep you outside of the job market. By providing an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills and microenterprises, ACCION Chicago’s and Safer Foundations Micro Enterprise Reentry Investment Trust (MERIT) Program will enable individuals invest in their futures and participate productively in the local economy.
