Requirements

Good interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication skills, a desire to assist individuals with criminal records with retaining employment, teaching interviewing tachniques utilized in professional interviews and gain exposure to the underserved. A genuine desire to work with individuals with criminal records in habilitation and re-habilitation is preferred. Any prior experience working with people with criminal records (adult or juvenile) or substance abuse populations is a plus.

Description of Tasks

  • Administer provided interview questions as prescribed by the program.
  • Provide suggestions and constructive criticism to clients as it pertains to interviewing only.
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality.
  • Discuss and advise on conflict resolution in the work place and appropriate on the job behaviors and other topics specific to employment.
  • Other tasks as assigned
