Chicago Area Residents:

Adults (18 years and older) whose primary goal is employment

1. Gather the information you will need for an appointment with the Safer Foundation including:

• Your relevant IDOC (Illinois Department of Corrections), CCDOC (Cook County Department of Corrections) or Federal ID numbers and release papers.

  AND

• Valid identification such as a State identification card or a Drivers License. If those are not available, then a Social Security Card and a birth certificate will do. (See Information for Obtaining Identification)

2. Call or e-mail the Safer Foundation to schedule an appointment with an Intake Counselor:
