Adults (18 years and older) whose primary goal is employment

1. Gather the information you will need for an appointment with the Safer Foundation including:

• Your relevant Illinois Department of Corrections, or Federal ID numbers and release papers

  AND  

• Valid identification such as a State identification card or a Drivers License. If those are not available, then a Social Security Card and a birth certificate will do. Locations to obtain identification are as follows:

2. Call the Safer Foundation to schedule an appointment with an Intake Counselor at the appropriate office, depending on where you live:

• Rock Island, IL: 309/786-7711 (Bilingual/ Signing for deaf)

• You may “walk-in” to the Rock Island Safer Foundation program office between 8:30AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday without an appointment. These offices are located at:
